About the accommodation

Hotel Blaucel 4* is located in front of the sea, in the quiet town of Blanes, in the province of Girona and on the Costa Brava.


The hotel has 24-hour reception, so that you can be attended whenever you need it, air conditioning and heating, free wifi in public areas, as well as an indoor car park (fee). Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet and showcooking.

The rooms have wifi connection, air conditioning and heating, television, telephone, desk, safe (for a fee) and a fully equipped bathroom with bathtub (except adapted rooms), hairdryer and amenities. All rooms have a balcony or terrace ;)

You can take the opportunity to sunbathe and take a dip in the outdoor pool, and there is also a children's pool for children ;) You can also unwind in the indoor heated pool, great!

Check out is at 10 am, but you can shower at the hotel during the last day, so you can take the opportunity to go to the beach until the last moment.

In July and August, the hotel offers family entertainment and mini-club.

We recommend that you visit the Castle of Sant Joan, a must on your visit to Blanes.

Nor can you miss the Marimurta Botanical Garden, one of the most beautiful gardens on the shores of the Mediterranean, located on cliffs where you can see some spectacular panoramic views of the coast and learn about more than 4,000 plant species.

The elevators were very slow. To go to floor 0 from floor 3 where we were, you had to go up and down all the floors and the hotel was full.

The food leaves much to be desired. Very repetitive and of poor quality. The bed in the room is not very comfortable, on arrival had a pillow that smelled of man sweat. The staff makes an effort, but they have problems but you can see the typical problems arising from the hiring of cheap immigrant labor. Problems that are discussed even in front of customers, becoming uncomfortable.
La comida deja mucho que desear. Muy repetitiva y de poca calidad. La cama de la habitación no es muy cómoda, a la llegada tenía una almohada que olía a sudor de hombre. El personal se esfuerza, pero tienen problemas pero se observan los típicos problemas derivados de la contratación de mano de obra barata inmigrante. Problemas que se debaten incluso delante de los clientes, llegando a incomodar.
