About the accommodation

The Golden Clube Cabanas Resort 3* is located in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, in the municipality of Tavira, in the Algarve region, in southern Portugal.

The accommodation has a 24-hour reception to assist you whenever you need it, free luggage storage service, Wi-Fi connection, air conditioning or heating (depending on the season), restaurant, cafeteria, living room and TV room.

In addition, you can have fun playing a game of basketball, ping-pong or foosball - great!

The resort also has a Spa area, where you can relax in the indoor pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath. For those who want to do sport even during their holidays, the accommodation has a gym to exercise :)


All studios and apartments are carefully furnished and equipped, all with a fully equipped kitchen area with ceramic hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, cooking utensils and kitchenware. They also have Wi-Fi connection, air conditioning and heating, television and a bathroom equipped with shower or bathtub and hairdryer. In addition, each apartment or studio has a balcony or terrace - great!


The accommodation is in the Ria Formosa Natural Park, very close to the village of Cabanas, facing the Ria Formosa and the sea in the Algarve. In the west, just 6 km away, you will find the Gilão River and the city of Tavira, a city of history and traditions.

El buen trato tanto de los recepcionistas como de los camareros.
The food... we chose all inclusive but there was very little variety in a buffet. The breakfast and snack did not vary. And lunch and dinner too poor.

To put a downside, the dining room is a bit secluded, but we went with IT and we appreciated the walk. The desserts were great and the monitors and activities were great. Very good everything

Apartment and facilities very old. To go from one place to another (from the bar to the dining room and rooms very far, with cobblestone road) perfect to go in a wheelchair. The buffet, little variety with very poor quality food and poorly cooked, in particular the Russian salad sour, to throw away and the fish did not fit more bones, over battered. We will not return.

El buffet, poca variedad con comida bastante pobre en calidad y mal cocinada., en concreto la ensaladilla rusa agria, para tirar y al pescado no le cabían más espinas, encima rebozado.  8.7 Manuel Travelled with couple January 2024 the food, although with little variety, was excellent. cod as you would expect in portugal, prepared in many ways. what there was, was delicious. the snack was very poor...toast and some cake for coffee and little else. the location was excellent for parking and visiting the surrounding villages. it is a very recommendable bargain.

the spa is very small, bad smell in the jacuzzi, cold heated pool and although the common facilities are well maintained, regular cleaning. it needs renovations. for a few days in the area highly recommended.
