The Vincci Valdecañas Golf 4* is located on the Isla de Valdecañas, a natural territory framed between the Sierra de Gredos and the Mofragüe Natural Park. In the province of Cáceres. This island is considered the Marbella of Extremadura.

The resort has 24-hour reception, heating and air conditioning depending on the season, gourmet restaurant, bar-cafeteria, free wifi, free indoor car park, free outdoor car park, several paddle and tennis courts, outdoor swimming pools during the summer season and a golf course with 18 holes.

The 80 rooms have an elegant and minimalist decor. The room has state-of-the-art furniture, air conditioning and heating depending on the season, flat screen TV, desk, minibar (for a fee), safe, free Wi-Fi and fully-equipped bathroom with shower, some amenities and hairdryer.

In the hotel restaurant you will find a buffet breakfast to start the morning off right, and during the day they offer a menu of regional Extremadura cuisine where you can taste typical local dishes, great!

In the area you can enjoy adventure activities, as well as sailing on the reservoir.

We would have preferred a buffet dinner instead of served at the table, because there were only 3 options to choose from and sometimes we didn't really like what was there. However, the food was quite good. Another unimportant thing.....the background music played in the lounges and dining room was always the same style, and to our taste, very monotonous.
Hubiéramos preferido una cena buffet en vez de servida en la mesa, porque solo había 3 opciones para elegir y a veces no nos gustaba mucho lo que había. Sin embargo, la comida era bastante buena. Otra cosa sin importancia…..la música de fondo que se escuchaba en los salones y el comedor era siempre del mismo estilo, y para nuestro gusto, muy monótona.
