The Hotel Globales Reina Cristina ****, is located in the town of Algeciras. It is a stately building with Spanish details built in the late nineteenth century. It is located 4 km from the Port of Algeciras and 22 km from the beaches of Tarifa.

4 Roberto Travelled with couple November 2024 La comida y que nos cambiaran rápidamente la habitación lamentable, cutre y desagradable que nos dieron llena de bichos, que podían ser crías de cucarachas. Nos dieron otra habitación que ya si podría ser más propia de un hotel normal Nos dieron una habitación super antigua, con manchas en el techo y la pared, rejillas del aire acondicionado llenas de mugre, camas y almohadas viejas e incómodas, ropa de cama que daba grima, mobiliario antiguo y que daba asco y bichos que parecían ser crías de cucarachas Basic 6.6 A Travelled with family September 2024 Overall pretty good, except for one of the two waiters in the cafeteria who was very unpleasant and rude, and some of the reception. The breakfast was quite varied.
En general bastante bien, quitando uno de los dos camareros de la cafeteria que era muy desagradable y mal educado, y alguna de recepcion. El desayuno bastante variedad.
Poor cleanliness of the pool, quite a lot of neglect of the hotel. The hotel is a beautiful place but it is very neglected. One of the nights we had a couple with loud music and they did nothing. The prices in the cafeteria were a bit high.

Good 8.3 Francisco José Travelled with couple August 2024 It is a hotel to disconnect and relax. The building maintains its colonial style essence. The staff is very kind and friendly.
Es un hotel para desconectar y relajarse. El edificio mantiene su esencia de estilo colonial. El personal muy amable y simpático.
Being a building with so many years of history, there are elements that should be replaced or restored. And others, such as bedside tables and desks, for example, should be renovated. Something difficult to control are the pigeons and seagulls, which make the balcony very dirty.
Al tratarse de un edificio con tantos años de historia, hay elementos que deberían reemplazar o restaurar. Y otros, directamente renovar, como mesitas de noche y escritorios, por ejemplo. Algo difícil de controlar son las palomas y las gaviotas, que ensucian muchísimo el balcón.

Very good 8.3 Chema Travelled with couple June 2024 The staff is very nice, especially Alvaro (head of rooms), the hotel and its gardens are very nice, the rooms are very large but neglected for a 4 star hotel. It has many services, buffet, swimming pool, gym etc.. The buffet is changing products but there is not much variety, but for us it was enough to eat well, we have eaten almost without people and that is appreciated.
El personal es muy agradable, sobre todo Alvaro (jefe de salas), el hotel y sus jardines son muy bonitos, las habitacion son muy grandes pero descuidadas para ser un hotel de 4 estrellas. Tiene muchos servicios, buffet, piscina, gimnasio etc. El buffet va cambiando de productos pero no hay mucha variedad, pero para nosotros ha sido suficiente para comer bien, hemos comido casi sin gente y eso se agradece.
The room is neglected for a 4 star hotel. We found some cockroaches and there were ants in the room and bathroom.
La habitacion esta descuidada para ser un hotel de 4 estrellas. Alguna cucaracha nos hemos encontrado y habia hormigas en la habitacion y baño.

Excellent 7.7 Francisco Travelled with couple December 2022 Very good but the New Year's Eve dinner buffet is somewhat deficient and the breakfast on day 1 is good but the one on day 2 is very scarce
Muy buena pero el buffet de la cena de fn de año algo deficiente y el desayyno del dia 1 bien pero el del 2 escasisimo
The bathroom has few hangers to put things, only one in the bathtub and you can't even separate the towels or hang clothes. The furniture in the room is very old and not cared for.
El baño tiene pocas perchas para ponercosas solo una en la bañera y no puedes ni sepaar las toallas o colgar ropa. E mobiliario d e la habitacion muy antiguo yno cuidado.
